WHAT IS NAIL TECHNOLOGY?
Nail technology is a branch of science that pertains to the care and beauty of both natural and artificial nails. A nail technician is a highly trained specialist who provides preventative care for the skin and offers treatments to keep it attractive and healthy.
Although nail techs do not prescribe medications or provide medical treatments as a licensed dermatologist would, the nail tech is trained to detect skin problems that may require medical attention.
The nail tech profession is very rewarding in that you have the opportunity to help your clients look and feel great thus improving their confidence and self-esteem. Nail techs are able to pursue a career in which they are given the freedom to exercise their creative abilities in a dynamic and prestigious industry.
The professional services of a nail technician will continue to be in demand as long as people are interested in the preservation of their health and appearance.
